  Their food is good, but they only get 4 stars because their service is a bit slow. Other than that, this place is a nice little spot to get your Peruvian food fix if you're in the mood and live in the area.
  
  FYI: Parking can be a hassle, it's a small awkwardly positioned lot. So if you're close by.... I suggest you walk.

  Ok people. Let me start by saying I'm a California native. And also half Peruvian/half mexican
  
  I grew up with the staples. Phillipes. Olvera street. Etc.
  
  Recently I was at a 2 week job at union station, how excited I was to have some of my old favorties.
  
  Phillipes was tasty. But after 11 bucks I was left with what felt like a sandwhich that had 60% of its meat removed. Needless to say I left hungry and disappointed.
  
  Olvera street was next, I tried 3 different spots, all leaving me with the feeling that flavor just doesnt exist in Olvera street. Which is strange because I love mexican food for precisely that reason. The flavor!!!
  
  3rd was a new spot. Howling Ray's. Now.. the chicken sandwhich was good... but 2 and a half hours standing in a line that barely moves is not worth it no matter how good.
  
  Finally, I just happen to walk across this place. Decide to walk in. Let me tell you, service was friendly. Food was fast. Portions were appropriately sized AND priced... and the flavor!!! It was all there!!! Why in the hell is yelp promoting all these spots that just lead to disappointment. This place needs to be at the top of the list for anyone visiting la. So many tourists some through union station, and all arrows lead to garbage food, at garbage prices, with garbage wait times.
  
  Stop the cycle!! You dont have to like the old places just because they're old! Try this place out. Get some chicha morada and chill  you wont be disappointed

  Don't come here!!
  Only saying this bc it's one of my favorite lunch spots  
  It's a tiny restaurant, wouldn't recommend for a party bigger than 4-6. Also parking is limited, and you'll have to attempt to find parking in Chinatown.
  The food here is AMAZING! One of the best Peruvian restaurants in LA.. even more generous than food I actually had in Peru. I always come here for the lunch special, 10.95, and comes with soup. The lomo saltado is a classic, and despite trying almost everything on the menu, I'm always impressed. They make some drinks in house and I even sometimes order the soups to take home! The food may give you food coma because of the hearty proportions, so consider yourself warned if you have a meeting until the afternoon. Don't expect any fancy dining, just really good food.

  Went here during lunch. Parking lot has very limited parking... but thank God we were able to find parking (you know how crazy parking is in la... lol)
  
  Good lunch special, food comes with soup.
  
  Soup of the day was chicken soup with noodles that looked like rice... they have the green Sauce like Mario's, which I enjoyed! (Has a good kick to it !)
  
  Got the lomosaltado, pretty good... not too flavorful tho... felt like they were missing something
  
  Also if u use a card, they charge you extra...

  Love the ceviche mixto and pollo a la brasas. Not many peruvian restaurant offer pollo a la brasas in america. will come back
